Hi, friend. I’m Aly.

Before I discovered yoga, I worked 60 plus hour weeks in Silicon Valley as an Executive Assistant. Twenty years into my career, I experienced chronic joint pain and high level anxiety. My search for relief led me to restorative yoga where I immediately found sanctuary on the mat. Within a year, my joint pain was gone and my anxiety was significantly reduced. In 2019, after much reflection I made the decision to leave the corporate fast track lifestyle to train to become a yoga teacher.

Since this time I have completed two 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings as well as specialized training to work with those who have suffered trauma. I am honored to be able to teach my students how to find peace within themselves.

With yoga there is no “end” or perfect pose. We are ever changing and by God’s grace I get to share the blessing and peace yoga has brought me with all of you.

I enjoy teaching restorative, yin, gentle flow and trauma-sensitive yoga classes.

I am a Trauma Sensitive registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Christian Yoga Association, which acknowledges the compilation of yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
